Vengeance

Vengeance is as Vengeance does
   --an all-consuming flame.
Bruised egos and broken hearts
   are fuel to feed the blaze.

"I must stand against injustice,
   This cannot get away.
How will they learn their lesson,
   if there is no hell to pay?
The scales have tipped and must be righted
  Justice done my way."

All subterfuge for evil deeds
 by the morally astray.

You crack a grin as your foes drown
  while you pour out misery
Your will and wit have stood their ground--
  A glorious victory?

Revel not, your pride is haught
  what you gave loves company.
As time goes on, your guard will drop
  --Vengeance will come for thee.
