Self Destruction

The vessel has shattered; smashed to bits by me

Loving hearts sliced open by sharp shards of glass

Bloody tears pour down upon what used to be

Memories are what's left of a perfect past

It can't offer refuge from the mess I made 

Scar reminders that perfection also bleeds

Next time I will think before I swing my blade

So in hunting wants, I don't destroy my needs.

Conundrum

Struggling on the path that is laid before me.
Impatient running to the end at full speed,

Chastity Belt

Love's one of those things where the harder it's gripped,

its light's suppressed and constrained to sedation.

It's not to be ridden on an ego trip,

bloodied or bought into subordination.

Love's not meant to be caged or ruled by the whip,

locked up from the world in false preservation.

A bird with clipped wings cannot choose where to fly

Selfishly held by force, heart weeps for blue sky.
